University of Al-Ameed concluded the activities of its dedicated scout camp, held in cooperation with the Al-Kafeel Scout Association of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, following three days filled with educational, cultural, scouting, and athletic programs aimed at developing participants' character and fostering a spirit of responsibility and teamwork.
The second day of the camp featured a diverse program combining knowledge, activity, and interaction. It commenced with breakfast, followed by a workshop titled "Self-Knowledge," which addressed the importance of awareness regarding personal abilities and potential. This was followed by a session titled "Higher Goals Stimulate Energy and a Sense of Responsibility," focusing on the importance of clear objectives and translating ambition into practical, responsible behavior.
The program also included scouting athletic activities designed to strengthen physical fitness and team spirit, alongside intellectual and cognitive sessions featuring shared memories and purposeful idea exchange among participants, concluding the second day with a scouting sports tournament.
The third and final day carried a spiritual and cultural character, featuring a trip to the Holy City of Najaf. The itinerary included visiting the Holy Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), performing the visit rituals, and partaking in lunch at the Holy Al-Alawiya Shrine.
Participants subsequently proceeded to the Sheikh Al-Ansari Complex, where an intellectual program was held in coordination with a scholar from the Hawza (Islamic Seminary) in Holy Najaf. The session included a cultural and intellectual lecture addressing issues touching upon youth aspirations, broadening their horizons for awareness, reflection, and character building.
The journey concluded with a return to Holy Karbala in the afternoon, drawing the curtain on the scout camp's activities. Across three action-packed days, the event integrated education, scouting, sports, culture, spirituality, and teamwork into an experience designed to utilize scouting activities as a platform for building awareness, refining skills, and instilling initiative and responsibility in participants.
