Who We are

Al-Ameed University is a private, non-profit academic institution. Established in Karbala under Decree No. (6519) issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on September 19, 2017, the university operates in accordance with the Private Colleges and Universities Law No. (13) of 1996, as amended. The university comprises six colleges: (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health and Medical Technologies—featuring departments in Emergency Medicine, Aesthetics and Laser, and Cardiac Care—Nursing, and the College of Basic Education for Girls with its three departments: English Language, Arabic Language, and Kindergarten). It also provides on-campus female dormitories at its complex located in the Holy Province of Karbala, Central Iraq, specifically on the Karbala-Najaf Road, opposite Pole 1238. Al-Ameed University strives to leverage the latest educational curricula, modern technologies, effective teaching methodologies, and laboratories equipped with cutting-edge tech. We provide an integrated campus environment, including advanced infrastructure, gardens, and sports facilities, to offer the very best to our esteemed students.
