Within the framework of enhancing its community role and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, the College of Nursing at our university organized a field visit to the Shatt Allah area in the Al-Hindiya district. The visit was supervised by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Legal Affairs at the college, Prof. Dr. Ridha Mohammed Lafta Al-Taee, under the direction of the Dean of the College.
The visit aimed to provide awareness and health services to the residents of the area. The college's students distributed educational brochures covering important topics, including communicable diseases, healthy nutrition, and the importance of personal hygiene. Furthermore, they provided health guidelines that contribute to raising the level of health awareness among community members.
This initiative comes as part of the college's activities aimed at serving the community and enhancing social responsibility. It also supports and achieves the Sustainable Development Goals by spreading health culture and disease prevention, which contributes to building a more aware and healthier society.
