The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received today, Sunday (8/2/2026), Dr. Sabah Al-Musawi, the former Director General of the Karbala Health Directorate. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, and the Acting Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul Kareem.
During the meeting, horizons of joint cooperation in health and academic fields were discussed, aiming to support the educational process and serve the community.
At the conclusion of the visit, the University President honored Dr. Sabah Al-Musawi with the University Shield in appreciation of his efforts and distinguished contributions to the health sector.
