The Civil Defense Division at our university, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Division at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, organized an awareness workshop in civil defense and public safety. The event was held at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, with the participation of staff members and personnel from both the College of Pharmacy and the College of Technologies.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Bilal Jassim Al-Khafaji, who addressed several key topics related to safety and prevention procedures and mechanisms for properly handling emergency situations, in addition to introducing first-response methods for accidents and mitigating their risks.
This workshop comes as part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance a culture of safety and preventive consciousness among its students and staff members, consolidating sound practices that contribute to providing a safer campus environment.
