The noble goals of higher education are summarized in three main pillars, which are:
1- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies
2- Scientific Research
3- Community Service
The College of Dentistry at Al-Ameed University seeks to achieve these goals in a manner consistent with the system of high intellectual and ethical values. Furthermore, our inclusion under the umbrella of the private education system in Iraq will provide us with all the determination and persistence to elevate the scientific and academic journey in our country. We will exert our utmost efforts to achieve this legitimate goal, keeping in mind the major objectives that we do not consider out of reach. Rather, it is the inescapable truth, which is that private education progresses through diligence, hard work, capabilities, sincerity, and honorable competition with its peers in public education institutions until it achieves tangible superiority over them, rather than settling for less and clinging to the weakest of ties, which is merely standing on equal footing with those institutions.
The endeavor of the College of Dentistry at Al-Ameed University to establish a distinguished edifice for the sciences and arts of dentistry that meets the highest international quality standards in teaching, training, and scientific research for the college students, and which reflects positively on fulfilling the needs of the community through high-quality therapeutic, health, and preventive services, is embodied in our pursuit to supply state institutions and the community with competent dentists holding a Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, as well as postgraduate degree holders in various dental specialties. This is in addition to our pursuit of providing medical services to the community through students in the fourth and fifth stages and postgraduate students, under the supervision of specialized professors and within the professors' consulting clinics, striving in all of this to provide the best and latest globally recognized technologies.
Thus, this college will be, God willing, a great example of communication between the university and the community.
In the axis of scientific research, our college urges its faculty members to accomplish their research that focuses on solving community problems and is characterized by an applied nature to maximize the desired benefit. This aligns with the diligent directives of the Ministry and the University Presidency in this regard, alongside our persistent pursuit to hold conferences, seminars, continuing education courses, study circles, and all scientific activities using all available human and material resources.
From God Almighty we seek help, and by the guidance and lights of His Awliya (chosen ones) we walk, asking Him by their right to grant us success for His satisfaction; He is the best Master and the best Helper.
