About the Laboratory:
A specialized laboratory dedicated to the microscopic study of the histological structures of oral tissues, teeth, and associated components (such as the gingiva, alveolar bone, salivary glands, and oral mucosa). Its primary objective is to provide a deep understanding of the precise composition and physiological functions of these tissues, establishing a diagnostic foundation for identifying pathological changes.
The laboratory features a dedicated specimen preparation room, which fosters scientific research and the development of innovative therapeutic materials and methods by enabling the preparation of samples for detailed microscopic examination.
General Histology:
This field focuses on the study of the primary tissue types within the human body and the cellular organization required for their formation. It serves as the fundamental cornerstone for all specialized histological disciplines, including oral and cutaneous histology.
Capacity: 40 Students
Available Equipment and Tools:
• Light Microscope
• Digital Microscope
• Oven
• Microtome
• Water Bath
• Hot Plate
Additionally, the laboratory is fully equipped with all necessary supplies and materials for histological sectioning and processing.
