University of Al-Ameed concluded on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the second and final day of its 3rd Annual General Conference for the 2026–2027 academic year. The event featured a variety of programs and activities reflecting the university's dedication to strengthening its academic and administrative journey and developing its educational environment. The closing day took place in the presence of Sayyid Laith Al-Musaawi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine (May His Success Continue), University President Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jash'ami, university vice presidents, college deans and their associates, alongside all university personnel and staff.
The second day's activities commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Dr. Ali Hamid Al-Gulgawi, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs of Iraq. The program included honoring the deanships and staff of the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy for obtaining full program accreditation. Additionally, outstanding teaching staff at the College of Nursing were recognized for securing first place in the assessment exam results, in appreciation of their scientific and academic contributions.
The day's events also featured the second panel discussion between the University Council and teaching and administrative staff. The session was dedicated to hearing, discussing, and addressing opinions, proposals, and operational challenges, fostering appropriate solutions to elevate institutional performance and reinforce teamwork.
The activities concluded with a competition and the distribution of awards to participants and winners, followed by a closing statement of thanks and gratitude. This marked the conclusion of the 3rd Annual General Conference, which served as a crucial platform to review the university's path, discuss upcoming priorities, and consolidate its vision toward further institutional and academic development and excellence.
