The College of Pharmacy at our university, in cooperation with the Communications Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine and the Civil Defense Division at our university, organized a training workshop titled "Smart Warning Systems in Prevention and Risk Management." The event was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Adiy Abdul Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi.
The workshop was presented by Engineer Ahmed Mohammed Zaher and Engineer Hussam Mohammed Ali from the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine. They reviewed the concept of smart warning systems and their role in preventing risks and enhancing safety measures.
The workshop aimed to introduce mechanisms for monitoring and early warning of risks, focusing on the practical aspect through a simulation of the smart warning system's operation and working mechanism. This contributes to enhancing early preparedness and reducing the impact of emergencies.
Furthermore, the workshop addressed the importance of improving response speed and decision-making accuracy during emergencies, as well as supporting coordination between entities concerned with crisis management, thereby enhancing the readiness of institutions to face various risks.
