Preparations continue at our university's Central Library to organize the Al-Ameed Annual Book Fair, coinciding with the 3rd International Specialized Conference on Information and Libraries. The conference is organized by the Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and Manuscript House at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, in collaboration with our university and the Al-Fadl Center for Heritage Preservation and Conservation.
The activities of the book fair and conference are scheduled to kick off next Tuesday, October 13, 2026, running for three days. The event unites books as windows to knowledge and scientific conferences as platforms for exchanging expertise and cross-pollinating ideas, contributing to the enrichment of cultural and scientific vitality, advancing the fields of libraries and information, and solidifying efforts aimed at preserving and safeguarding heritage.
