Al-Ameed University received today, Tuesday (August 26, 2025), a delegation from the Ministry of Environment, which included the Deputy Minister of Environment, the Assistant Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department, the Director of the Central Environmental Laboratory at the Ministry, and the Director of Urban Environment. The visit was part of an official mission to the university’s central laboratory to review its scientific and technical capacities and equipment, in preparation for accrediting it as an environmental impact advisory laboratory in cooperation with Saqr Al-Jawda Company.
This visit, headed by the Deputy Minister of Environment, comes within the framework of strengthening institutional partnerships between the university and relevant governmental bodies. It aims to enhance laboratory and research services as well as environmental consultations, reflecting Al-Ameed University’s commitment to supporting national efforts dedicated to environmental protection and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
