The President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received a delegation from the Al-Wafi Foundation for Documentation and Studies at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine. The meeting was held to receive the new edition of the Sufficiency Jihad Encyclopedia (Jihad Al-Kifa'i), consisting of 80 volumes, which was gifted to the University Presidency. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department at the university.
During the meeting, the importance of this encyclopedia was emphasized as a national documentation work reflecting a pivotal stage in Iraq's modern history. It contributes to preserving the national memory and documenting the sacrifices of the Iraqi people.
The Director of the Media and Government Communication Department stated in an exclusive declaration to the University Media that receiving this encyclopedia comes within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting documentation and scientific projects that enhance national awareness and enrich the academic library with robust sources.
He added that Al-Ameed University pays great attention to intellectual and historical works that highlight humanitarian and national values. He emphasized that this encyclopedia will constitute an important reference for researchers, students, and those interested in intellectual and historical affairs. It is particularly significant regarding the sacrifices of the proud sons of Iraq in defending the homeland and sanctities, and in preserving the heritage of those who contributed to achieving victory.
