The College of Medicine Conducts the End-of-Course Internal Medicine Exam Electronically for Sixth-Stage Students

The College of Medicine at our university conducted the end-of-course internal medicine exam for sixth-stage students in the computer laboratories within the college, under the supervision and follow-up of the Acting Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamiaa Abdul Kareem.

The exam was conducted in an electronic format (Online), with the same settings and arrangement as the assessment exams approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the final exam, in alignment with the approved academic standards.

The exam consisted of more than 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and lasted for three hours, with the aim of evaluating the students' level of comprehension of theoretical information, as well as measuring the extent of their acquisition of the clinical skills necessary upon graduation, within the concept of a “Day 1 Doctor”.

More than 100 students participated in the exam, under the supervision of 4 specialist doctors, in addition to 10 professors and observers, to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the examination process. The exam was also supported by 3 Information Technology (IT) engineering specialists at the university to monitor the technical aspects and ensure that no obstacles occurred during the exam period.
