Al-Ameed University hosted, in the Imam Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall, the activities of the second day of the Second National Scientific Forum for Youth Elites. The event is held under the patronage of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine and organized by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association. The forum is titled: "Intellectual Security in the Advice of His Eminence Sayyid Al-Sistani (may his shadow last) to Believers in the Era of the Occultation of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance)."
The events witnessed the presence of a number of officials from the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, alongside the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Rahim, and a number of administrative department directors at the university, as well as a group of academics and youth elites participating in the forum.
The second day's program included a speech by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs delivered by the Head of the Department, Mr. Aqeel Al-Yasiri, followed by the forum's knowledge session presented by Mr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Ameedi. Additionally, the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center initiative was announced by Mr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Mawla. The events concluded with honoring the winners of the Grand Knowledge Competition for university students.
This forum serves as an embodiment of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine's commitment to sponsoring and supporting scientific and intellectual activities. It stems from its missionary role in enhancing cognitive awareness and consolidating concepts of intellectual security among the youth, contributing to building a conscious society capable of facing contemporary intellectual and cultural challenges.
