The College of Dentistry at our university held a scientific workshop titled "Medical Emergencies in Dental Clinic." It was presented by Lect. Dr. Ayman Nasrallah, in the presence of the College Deanship and a number of teaching staff and students.
The workshop addressed the most important medical emergencies that may occur within dental clinics, and the mechanisms for dealing with them quickly and effectively to ensure patient safety. In addition, it reviewed basic first aid procedures and the steps that must be followed when a medical emergency occurs during the provision of treatment.
The workshop also witnessed interaction from the attendees through asking questions and making scientific interventions, emphasizing the importance of these scientific events in enhancing the skills of the college's students and raising their readiness to deal with emergencies inside medical clinics.
