As part of the activities of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week,

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Medicine, Al-Ameed University, held an educational lecture titled Psychological Counseling Skills and Theories, delivered by Professor Dr. Ali Tarek. The event was attended by the Acting Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, along with several faculty members and staff from the university's Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department. The lecture covered several key topics, including defining the concept of psychological counseling and its importance, enhancing the practical skills of professionals in the field, and highlighting counseling theories. It also addressed mechanisms for evaluating counselees using specialized surveys and tests. The attendees expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights shared during the lecture.
