The Senior Official (Mutawalli Shar'i) of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi (may his glory last), dispatched the Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine and member of its Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Dada Al-Musawi, to offer congratulations and blessings to the Presidency of Al-Ameed University. This visit was in recognition of the scientific achievement accomplished by the College of Nursing. He was received by the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, and the Assistant President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Rahim.
This congratulation came on the occasion of the College of Nursing securing the first rank among private colleges and the third rank among public colleges within the results of the Iraqi Classification for Medical Departments for 2025. Additionally, the university's other colleges achieved advanced ranks in the aforementioned classification. This represents a significant achievement reflecting the advanced academic level and the scientific and administrative efforts exerted at the university.
For its part, the Al-Ameed University Presidency valued this generous initiative, expressing its gratitude and pride in the patronage of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine. The Presidency affirmed its commitment to continuing work to achieve further excellence and success in serving the scientific and medical progress in the country.
