Al-Ameed University celebrated today, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the First University Day Forum for the students of the College of Basic Education for Girls, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Joudat Nouri Al-Jashami; the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Meytham Hamid Al-Qanbar; the Assistant President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul-Rahim; and the Acting Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sabih Al-Kaabi, along with a number of directors of administrative departments, faculty members, and college staff.
In his address to the students, the University President delivered a set of guidance and recommendations, emphasizing the importance of diligence and perseverance to achieve success and excellence. He affirmed that excellence begins with the self, and that the students must carry the scientific mission for future generations with a sense of responsibility. He further explained that Al-Ameed University’s vision is based on five main pillars: specialization in work, educational values, ethics in general and professional ethics in particular, effective communication skills, psychological flexibility, and quality of life.
The celebratory atmosphere reflected the university’s dedication to instilling a spirit of belonging and reinforcing scientific and educational values in the students at the start of their academic journey at the college.
