The University Council held its fifth regular session for the 2025–2026 academic year, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, and attended by all council members, to discuss a number of academic and administrative files listed on the agenda.
The meeting addressed the presentation of the mechanism and procedures to ensure the implementation of ministerial directives, in a manner that achieves justice and considers the students' interests, and in alignment with the applicable regulations and instructions.
The Council also reviewed the strategic plans of the colleges at our university, emphasizing the importance of developing academic and research programs, elevating the quality of education, and enhancing the requirements of academic accreditation, which contributes to achieving the university's vision and mission in serving the community.
