Implementation of Bologna Process and Completion of Curriculum Focus of College of Nursing Meeting

The Dean of the College of Nursing at our university, Prof. Dr. Dhiyaa Kareem Abdul Ali, held a meeting with the Heads of Scientific Branches and subject professors for the first stage/first semester. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lect. Dr. Shahzanan Hassan Badr, to discuss the college's plan for implementing the "Bologna Process" and completing the study curriculum, in accordance with the ministerial university calendar issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the meeting, the university calendar and the completion rates of the study curriculum up to (21/1/2026) were reviewed. The procedures adopted regarding teaching, assessment, and testing within the Bologna Process were discussed, in addition to the compensation plan and obstacles facing the progress of the educational process.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on faculty members delivering intensive lectures since the beginning of the academic year. It also stressed the application of Bologna Process requirements across all study subjects, the preparation of monthly and final examination schedules (both theoretical and practical), submitting them to the University Presidency for approval, and organizing exam dates to ensure the continuity of lectures for the remaining courses.
