The President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. (Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashaami), delivered a speech during the activities of the Fourth Dar Al-Rasoul Al-A'dham (PBUH&HP) International Scientific Conference, which is hosted by Al-Ameed University under the patronage of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, and with the participation of a selection of scholars and researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
Dr. Al-Jashaami extended a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed attendees and participants, stating that this blessed conference is held on the campus of Al-Ameed University to be a scientific and intellectual platform that renews the covenant with the divine message and is illuminated by the light of the fragrant Prophetic biography.
Dr. Al-Jashaami said in his speech: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religion, and sufficient is Allah as a Witness. The best of prayers and most complete peace be upon the one who was sent as a mercy to the worlds, by whom Allah illuminated the darkness and guided the hearts, the Chosen One, Muhammad, and upon his pure and righteous progeny. Peace be upon Imam Al-Hussein, the grandson of the Chosen Prophet and the Master of the Youth of Paradise, who embodied in Karbala the highest meanings of sacrifice, dignity, and steadfastness on the truth. His light extended from the sanctuary of prophethood to the fields of heroism, and from his pure blood, consciousness emerged and life was renewed. Peace be upon Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the hero of Al-Taff, the bearer of the standard, and the one who quenched the thirst of Karbala's thirsty. He set the most magnificent examples of loyalty, altruism, and courage, until he became a symbol for all who dedicated themselves to supporting the truth. He ascended the levels of virtue until he was nicknamed the 'Gate of Needs' (Bab Al-Hawa'ij). So, peace be upon them both as long as night and day follow, and as long as a sun shines on a land that loves them.
Esteemed attendees all, from outside Iraq and from all its regions, with all due respect to your titles and noble positions, you are most welcome at Al-Ameed University, which is sponsored by the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine and directly supervised by the legal guardian (Al-Mutawalli Al-Shar'i) of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayyid Ahmed Al-Safi (may his honor last). My dear brothers and sisters... O you who have gathered with us today in this blessed conference, to revive the memory of the best of creation, to draw from the spring of his fragrant biography, to be guided by the light of his guidance, and to elevate our understanding of his message. Congratulations to you on this gathering, and congratulations to you on this status. Indeed, speaking of the Prophetic biography is not merely narrating historical events, nor is it a review of past occurrences. Rather, it is an inspiration of lessons, an invocation of values, an enlightenment by guidance, and an awakening of determination. The fragrant Prophetic biography is the practical application of the Holy Quran, and it is the living embodiment of mercy, justice, wisdom, patience, reliance (on Allah), striving, sacrifice, and benevolence. The Most Noble Prophet was adorned with noble morals, to the extent that Allah said of him (And indeed, you are of a great moral character). Then He chose him to carry His message, so he was the bearer of glad tidings to the believers, of goodness, success, and mercy..........
