The College of Dentistry at our university organized a workshop titled "Diagnosis and Treatment of Gummy Smile," presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zina Ali Daily. This event is part of the Continuing Medical Education programs aimed at developing the skills of the teaching staff and enhancing the institutional work environment.
Dr. Daily stated in an exclusive declaration to the University Media that the workshop covered several scientific themes. It focused on the importance of recognizing gummy smile cases, clinical examination methods, and accurate diagnostic mechanisms. Additionally, it reviewed appropriate therapeutic methods, contributing to improving patients' health and the quality of care provided to them.
She added that the workshop emphasized the significant role of treating these cases in enhancing oral health and its positive reflections on the patients' general health.
This workshop comes within a series of scientific activities that the College of Dentistry is keen to organize, in alignment with its constant endeavor to elevate academic and professional levels.
