The College of Pharmacy Council at Al-Ameed University held its first meeting for the academic year (2025–2026), presided over by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rukabi, with the attendance of the associate deans and heads of scientific departments.
The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming address to the council members, wishing them a fruitful academic year, before presenting the college’s comprehensive work plan, which focuses on strengthening its academic and research standing.
The council also discussed the academic schedules and mechanisms for organizing both theoretical and practical lectures in a manner that ensures the smoothness and efficiency of the educational process, in addition to reviewing the scientific research plan, supporting graduation projects, and linking them to the needs of the community and labor market.
The session further included following up on procedures related to adopting the updated curricula in line with the latest quality standards and academic accreditation requirements, as well as addressing student affairs, activating university activities, and enhancing academic advising services.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of working in the spirit of one team to achieve the set goals, expressing confidence that the new academic year will be rich with accomplishments under the motto: “Excellence in Pharmaceutical Education and Scientific Research.”
