The Higher Committee overseeing accreditation axes at our university's College of Medicine held a meeting chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha. The meeting was attended by the heads and members of the accreditation axes committees, as part of the intensive preparations for the visit of the National Assessor Team (NAT).
The meeting included a comprehensive review of files and evidence related to the accreditation axes, ensuring the completion of standard documentation requirements in accordance with approved national frameworks. It also discussed mechanisms for organizing and presenting evidence to reflect the progress achieved by the college in the path of quality assurance and academic accreditation.
The attendees emphasized the importance of integration and coordination among the various committees and the unification of efforts to ensure full readiness to receive the National Assessor Team. The team is scheduled to visit the College of Medicine from February 14–17, 2026, to evaluate the fulfillment of national academic accreditation standards.
