The College of Nursing held a welcome festival today, Wednesday (17/12/2025), to receive the new first-stage students admitted to the college for the current academic year, in the presence of the College Dean and its faculty members.
The festival included an introductory segment about its activities, followed by an introductory video presentation that provided an overview of the College of Nursing, its branches, laboratories, and its academic and humanitarian role in serving the community. The Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Dhiyaa Kareem Al-Bayati, also delivered a speech welcoming the new students, wishing them success in their university journey, and urging them to emulate their predecessors in excellence and creativity in this vital and important specialization for society.
The festival also witnessed speeches by the Branch Presidency, the Counseling Unit, and the "Irtaqa" Student Team. Additionally, a brief explanation was provided regarding the outline of the study subjects prescribed for first-stage students, contributing to familiarizing them with the academic path and study requirements.
The festival concluded with an introductory tour for the students through the corridors of Al-Ameed University and the laboratories of the College of Nursing, aiming to introduce them to the university environment and available facilities, thereby enhancing their integration into university life from their very first day.
