Al-Ameed University is preparing tomorrow, Sunday, October 12, 2025, to launch the International Al-Noor University Qur’anic Competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of a number of Iraqi and international universities. The event will be held in an atmosphere of faith, filled with a spirit of noble competition in the blessed presence of the Holy Qur’an.
As part of the preparations for the launch of the competition, the Student Activities Department at Al-Ameed University organized an internal Qur’anic competition at the university level, which included the categories of recitation and memorization, with wide participation from the university’s students. The students of the College of Pharmacy won first place in both the recitation and memorization categories, amid a spiritual atmosphere imbued with the blessed recitations of the words of Allah, the Almighty.
For his part, the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Hussein Hakim, affirmed that preparations are progressing diligently to ensure the success of this blessed Qur’anic event. He also pointed out that Al-Ameed University has long been distinguished for its excellence in organizing and sponsoring religious and cultural events that contribute to deepening Qur’anic culture among students.
