The Student Activities Department at Al-Ameed University organized a charity bazaar in the student centers of both the old and new university campuses. The event saw wide participation from students of the university's colleges and was held over three consecutive days.
The Director of the Student Activities Department at our university, Dr. Hussein Hakim Abdul Wahid, stated in a declaration to the University Media that the bazaar included a diverse display of handicrafts created by the students, alongside an exhibition of plastic arts paintings. These works reflected their talents and creativity in various artistic and vocational fields, amidst remarkable interaction from the university staff.
He added that this activity was organized within the framework of supporting humanitarian cases, as its proceeds were dedicated to supporting the needy and underprivileged. This initiative embodies the spirit of cooperation and social solidarity within the university campus, contributes to enhancing humanitarian values, and encourages students to engage in teamwork and charitable initiatives that serve the community.
