As part of its commitment to promoting recreational and leisure activities for its students, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at Al-Ameed University organized a recreational trip on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, for the students of the College of Nursing, accompanied by several faculty members, to Al-Firdaws Amusement City. The city, affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, is located west of Karbala.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the landmarks of the amusement city and allowed them to explore its facilities in an atmosphere of joy and happiness, fostering positive interaction among the participants.
The trip included enjoyable tours of the various attractions, with students expressing their immense happiness with the initiative. The event contributed to enhancing teamwork and alleviating academic pressures. Al-Ameed University consistently organizes such activities, reflecting its belief in the importance of integrating academic and recreational aspects to create a comprehensive environment that supports students in achieving both academic excellence and personal growth.
