The Dormitory Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at our university, organized a scientific lecture titled "Prevention of Viral Hepatitis Infection." It was presented by the Director of International Relations and Cooperation at the university, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul Kareem Issa, in the presence of a number of directors of scientific and administrative departments and university staff.
The lecture included defining viral hepatitis, its types, and methods of infection transmission, as well as explaining the most prominent preventive methods that contribute to limiting the spread of the disease. It also emphasized the importance of health awareness and following medical guidelines to maintain public health.
The lecture witnessed interaction from the attendees through asking a number of questions and making interventions that enriched its topics, affirming the importance of holding such scientific activities that contribute to enhancing health awareness among university staff.
