The Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department at Al-Ameed University, Assistant Lecturer Rami Mohammed Jawad Al-Asadi, representing the Department of Education and Higher Education, participated in the third annual Ramadan program for dormitory students organized by the University of Technology in cooperation with the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine.
The event was held in the gardens of the University of Technology, in the presence of Mr. Adnan Jalokhan Al-Musawi, representing the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, officials from the University of Technology, several college deans, and department directors, as well as wide participation from dormitory students and international students.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by reciting Al-Fatihah for the souls of Iraq's martyrs, the national anthem, and the "Hymn of Pride" (Nasheed al-Iba'a) of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine. The event included official speeches emphasizing the importance of such programs in enhancing the spiritual and cultural atmosphere among students and consolidating the values of cooperation and solidarity within the university environment.
The evening also featured a collective Iftar banquet for the dormitory students of the host university, including poetry and chanting sessions addressing the biography of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and his noble human values.
