On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University organized a scientific seminar (discussion session) entitled “Management of Vertigo and Its Associated Symptoms: Diagnosis and Treatment Approaches.” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ali Abdul-Karim, a specialist in the nervous system, with the attending of the college’s students.
The session provided a comprehensive scientific overview of the concept of vertigo, its pathological causes, and the methods of differentiating it from similar symptoms. It also highlighted key medical examinations that aid in precise diagnosis, in addition to presenting modern treatment strategies and mechanisms for managing different cases.
