The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, received today, Wednesday (22/4/2026), a delegation from the Maternity and Obstetrics Teaching Hospital in Holy Karbala. The meeting was attended by the Acting Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamiaa Abdul Kareem, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, within the framework of discussing prospects for joint cooperation on various levels.
The visiting delegation included Dr. Mustafa Shaker, Director of the Technical Department at the hospital; Mr. Nawfal Saeed Al-Ardawi, Administrative Assistant to the Hospital Director; Pharmacist Nadia Sahib, Assistant Hospital Director; and Pharmacist Amir Al-Ghanmi, Assistant Director of the Technical Department.
This visit stems from the scientific and administrative expertise, advanced infrastructure, and modern medical equipment possessed by the university. This reflects the university's vision of building bridges of cooperation between educational and medical institutions and enhancing partnerships to serve the scientific and healthcare progress in the province.
