The activities of the university's annual five-a-side football tournament, organized by the Student Activities Department at our university, kicked off with the participation of students from the university's colleges at the university stadium.
The Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Hussein Hakim, emphasized the importance of exhibiting sportsmanship and fair competition among the students. He pointed out that the goal of holding this tournament and similar activities is to alleviate academic pressure on the students, as well as to enhance the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among them.
He added that sports represent a noble message that contributes to building the students' personalities and developing their physical and mental capabilities. He emphasized the university's commitment to supporting extracurricular activities that contribute to creating an integrated university environment.
