The Department of Female Dormitories, in collaboration with the Center for Continuous Education at our university, organized an intellectual awareness lecture titled: "The Impact of Gossip and Hypocrisy on the Erosion of the Social Fabric: A Vision of Challenges and Reform Methodologies." This initiative is part of the university's cultural programs aimed at fostering ethical and social values within the academic community.
The lecture was delivered by the Secretary of the University Council, Dr. Bushra Hassan Ashour. She addressed the negative dimensions of gossip and hypocrisy and their grave implications for social cohesion. Dr. Ashour emphasized the importance of both individual and collective awareness in counteracting these phenomena, stressing the need for a reformative approach grounded in ethics and social responsibility.
