In the framework of enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise among Iraqi universities, Al-Ameed University received a delegation from the College of Science at the University of Karbala, which included a number of professors accompanied by the college deanship and a group of undergraduate students.
The delegation was received by several directors of scientific and administrative departments and university faculty. During the visit, they toured a number of the university's facilities, departments, and educational laboratories, including the general chemistry laboratory and the microbiology laboratory in the College of Nursing, and the clinical skills and virtual anatomy laboratories in the College of Medicine, in addition to visiting the central library to learn about the modern academic services it provides.
An introductory presentation was also delivered, which included the most important academic and scientific achievements of Al-Ameed University, among them receiving the Higher Education Award for the Outstanding University Library, and obtaining institutional and programmatic accreditation for a number of its colleges.
The visiting delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, emphasizing the importance of this visit in strengthening prospects for joint cooperation and exchanging academic and research expertise among Iraqi universities, in a manner that contributes to advancing the scientific and educational level in the country.
