Al-Ameed University commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the Leader of the Women of the Worlds, Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), today, Wednesday (November 5, 2025), by holding a women's mourning council organized by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance; offering condolences to the People of the Household of Infallibility and Prophethood (peace be upon them) on this painful anniversary.
The council included a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a commemorative speech that reviewed the fragrant biography of the lady of purity and chastity, Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and her pioneering role in establishing the values of faith, patience, and striving in the path of Allah Almighty. The council also witnessed a mourning segment in which a group of female affiliates and students participated, expressing their grief and condolences to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
This council comes as part of the cultural and guidance activities held by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the university; to enhance the spirit of faith and spread the culture of loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) among the female students and university affiliates.
