The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Dentistry at Al-Ameed University organized a humanitarian initiative consisting of a visit to the orphanage of the Al-Qaleel Khairun Min Al-Hirman Foundation. This initiative falls within the framework of enhancing the humanitarian and social aspects among the college students.
Educational Counselor at the college, Mr. Amir Raad, stated in an exclusive declaration to the University Media that this initiative coincided with the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), a great occasion that carries within it meanings of mercy and giving. He indicated that the visit included providing winter clothing for the orphan children, in addition to preparing a hospitality team and presenting purposeful recreational activities that brought joy to their hearts.
He added that these initiatives aim to instill humanitarian values in the students and enhance the spirit of cooperation and social solidarity, emphasizing that the College of Dentistry continues to support voluntary activities that serve the community.
He also pointed out that the children's interaction with the recreational activities was significant, reflecting the importance of such initiatives in bringing joy to their souls and enhancing their sense of care and attention.
