Al-Ameed University received a delegation from the Scientific Complex for the Holy Qur’an affiliated with the al-‘Ataba al-‘Abbasiyya al-Muqaddasa (the Holy Abbasid Shrine), represented by the Director of the Qur’anic Projects Center, Mr. Hasanayn al-Hilu. The visit came within the framework of the ongoing preparations for holding the International Al-Noor University Qur’anic Competition, which will be hosted by the university and organized by the Department of Student Activities.
The delegation was received by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Asst. Prof. Mushtaq Kareem ‘Abd al-Raheem, along with the Director of the Department of Media and Governmental Communication, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jasim Muhsin al-Sultani, and the Director of the Department of Student Activities, Dr. Hussain Hakim ‘Abd al-Wahed. The discussions focused on the details of the ongoing preparations to ensure the success of this Qur’anic event.
The visit also included a field tour of Imam al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall, to review the technical, administrative, and organizational requirements, as well as to follow up on the necessary logistical arrangements in coordination with the relevant departments of the university.
