The Central Celebrations Committee at our university held its preliminary meeting today, Wednesday (21/1/2026). The meeting was chaired by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Rahim, with all committee members present, to discuss preparations for holding the "Birth of Hope" (Wiladat Al-Amal) Festival.
The meeting discussed a number of important themes related to organizing the festival, including setting preliminary plans, defining tasks and responsibilities, and establishing coordination mechanisms between sub-committees. This aims to ensure the festival is presented in an ideal manner befitting the university's status and its academic and cultural mission.
During the meeting, the Committee Chairman emphasized the importance of concerted efforts and working with a team spirit to make this annual event a success. He stressed the necessity of paying attention to organizational and technical details to contribute to achieving the festival's desired goals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to hold subsequent meetings to follow up on work developments and discuss proposals submitted by members, in preparation for putting the final touches on the launch of the festival.
