Under the supervision of the President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Al-Jashaami, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, the Surgery Branch at the College of Medicine organized the end-of-course examination using the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) system for sixth-stage students.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, stated in an exclusive declaration to the University Media that the OSCE is considered one of the latest assessment methods adopted in medical colleges. He noted that it aims to measure the students' clinical and practical skills in an objective and standardized manner.
He pointed out that during the exam, students pass through a series of specific timed stations. Through these, their ability to take patient history, conduct clinical examinations, and make appropriate medical decisions is evaluated.
He added that this examination falls within the college's plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency of its students and preparing them in accordance with the highest academic and clinical standards.
