Al-Ameed University received a ministerial delegation headed by the Director of Dormitory Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, Assistant Lecturer Bassem Kareem Zaidan, as part of a special ministerial committee tasked with monitoring and evaluating the status of dormitory facilities in both public and private universities in the Holy Province of Karbala.
The delegation conducted a field tour that included the university’s dormitory buildings, during which they inspected the essential facilities such as sanitation units, kitchens, and separate rooms in different buildings allocated for male and female students, in addition to following up on maintenance work and the performance of the working staff.
The head of the delegation affirmed that the primary objective of this visit is to evaluate the quality of the dormitory facilities from various administrative, service, psychological, and social aspects. He pointed out that what distinguishes Al-Ameed University is that the female dormitory buildings are located within the university campus, providing a safe and integrated environment for the female students.
The committee also praised the level of furnishing, equipment, and services provided, expressing its wishes for continued success and prosperity for Al-Ameed University in its ongoing efforts to develop its academic environment and serve its students.
