Prof. Dr. Joudat Nouri Al-Jashaami, President of Al-Ameed University, is participating in the World Health Summit which kicked off today in the German capital, Berlin, under the theme “Taking Responsibility for Health in a Fragmented World”, and will continue from October 12–14, 2025.
Dr. Al-Jashaami stated in a special interview with the university’s media office:
“We are taking part in the activities of the World Health Summit held in Berlin as part of the delegation representing the Board of Education and Higher Education of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, in order to strengthen the active presence of the Board with all its institutions — represented by (Al-Ameed University, Al-Kafeel University, and Al-Ameed Educational Group) — in such international forums.”
He added:
“The participation of numerous health and academic institutions in this summit provides an opportunity to exchange experiences in various medical and health fields, as well as to open horizons for cooperation with many institutions. This may lead to partnerships that reinforce the vision of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine in implementing its educational programs within the Al-Ameed Educational Group and its universities — Al-Ameed and Al-Kafeel.”
It is noteworthy that the World Health Summit annually attracts more than 3,000 in-person participants and over 21,000 online attendees, bringing together global health experts in more than 70 sessions. Over the course of three days, discussions aim to generate solutions to pressing health challenges. The speakers and participants represent the academic, political, private sector, and civil society spheres — both within and beyond the field of global health. Simultaneously, a diverse range of side events, launch activities, and partnership sessions are also held.
