As part of the weekly program of activities aimed at providing recreation for students and enhancing their cultural aspects, the Girls' Dormitory Department at Al-Ameed University organized a field visit to the nurseries of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, with the participation of a number of female dormitory students.
The official in charge of the Girls' Dormitory, Ms. Azhar Jabbar Abbas, stated in an exclusive declaration to the university media: "These visits come within the department's plan to provide an opportunity for students to view the pioneering projects adopted by the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, in addition to providing a recreational and cultural atmosphere that contributes to alleviating study pressure and strengthening social ties among students."
She pointed out that the nurseries affiliated with the Holy Shrine represent an important model in supporting green spaces and local agricultural production, which reflects positively on the general environment in the city of Karbala.
She added that the dormitory department will continue to organize such weekly programs due to the positive impact they leave on the students' souls, and the community and cognitive connection they achieve with active institutions in the governorate.
