As part of early preparations for the launch of the new academic year (2026–2027) and in implementation of the university presidency's directives, the Dean of the College of Nursing at University of Al-Ameed, Prof. Dr. Dhiaa Karim Al-Bayati, held an expanded meeting with the college's teaching, technical, and administrative staff to discuss plans and preparations capable of improving academic and administrative performance while enhancing quality and institutional excellence pathways.
The meeting involved discussing a number of key organizational and academic topics. Dr. Al-Bayati emphasized the necessity of adhering to official working hours, organizing the work environment, and accurately assigning tasks and responsibilities, in addition to identifying the needs of staff and various departments to ensure an integrated work environment that supports the college's progress.
Emphasis was also placed on completing weekly and educational schedules and plans, updating curricula, preparing systematic evaluation plans, and making all necessary preparations to guarantee the success of second-round examinations for the current academic year.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed adopting program accreditation standards as a fundamental framework for the college's various activities, alongside activating the role of quality coordinators in documenting achievements in line with accreditation requirements and standards. The discussion also covered completing the requirements of the HEPIQ platform, following up on the implementation of associated plans, activating academic partnerships, organizing workshops and training courses, supporting research activity by recording papers intended for publication in international indexing databases, and aligning with university plans aimed at obtaining ISO certifications and boosting institutional excellence.
