On Saturday, November 30, 2024, Al-Ameed University welcomed a delegation from the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Karbala Branch, headed by Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul-Aali Al-Daami, Head of the Syndicate Branch, accompanied by Assistant Prof. Dr. Amir Ali Khalil Al-Mousawi, a member of the Syndicate's Board of Directors.
The visiting delegation was received by the University's President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashaami, alongside Assistant Prof. Dr. Hassan Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, the Syndicate’s representative on the University Council and Administrative Affairs Associate Dean of the College of Pharmacy. The University President extended a warm welcome to the delegation at Al-Ameed University.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Daami offered congratulations to the University’s administration on the commencement of the new academic year for first-year students, praising Al-Ameed University's exceptional performance in last year's formative exams for the 2023-2024 academic year. He also commended the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the academic environment and adopt educational methods that focus on developing students' academic and practical skills. The discussions covered several topics related to advancing academic and educational institutions and fostering joint collaboration between the Syndicate and the University.
The visit concluded with a field tour of the University's administrative and academic departments, during which the delegation expressed admiration for the organizational and technical standards upheld by Al-Ameed University.
