The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at Al-Ameed University continued on Monday, November 25, 2024, the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week. The events of the third day were held in collaboration with the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. The activities were attended and supervised by the President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Joudat Nouri Al-Jashaami.
The department, in cooperation with Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center, organized an exceptional exhibition of books and booklets that highlighted intellectual and cultural diversity and emphasized the role of reading in enhancing youth’s cultural and intellectual awareness. The events also included cultural, religious, and social competitions aimed at strengthening students' knowledge connections and fostering their intellectual and social awareness in an environment rich in cultural and intellectual interaction.
Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Adnan Murtada, Director of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at Al-Ameed University, noted that the third day of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week witnessed significant participation from university students as well as administrative staff members, reflecting the spirit of cooperation that characterizes the Al-Ameed University community.
He emphasized that these activities, which will continue for three days, aim to promote a culture of reading and awareness among youth while supporting cultural and educational initiatives and reinforcing human values among students. This aligns with the university’s mission of nurturing an enlightened and educated generation.
