The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, chaired a meeting that brought together the heads of registration units in the university's colleges and those tasked with data entry on the HEPIQ platform. The meeting was attended by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul-Rahim, and the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul-Karim Issa, with the participation of representatives from the colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health and Medical Technologies, and Basic Education for Girls.
The meeting was held within the framework of following up on the readiness level of data for the academic year 2024–2025, assessing the achieved completion rates, and ensuring the completion of all requirements for data entry on the HEPIQ platform, in alignment with the timeline approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The attendees reviewed the completion rates across various colleges. Reports indicated that the tasks of creating student academic files, documenting their academic data, and entering their academic tracks within scientific departments have been completed at a rate exceeding 97%. This reflects a high level of commitment and readiness among the university's work teams.
The meeting also featured a discussion on the most prominent observations and technical challenges facing platform users. The University President directed the necessity of addressing these issues urgently and putting in place effective procedures to overcome them. This is to ensure the completion of the first-phase requirements and achieve a 100% completion rate within the specified timeframe, thereby enhancing data accuracy and the efficiency of digital transformation in student affairs management, in harmony with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop electronic systems and elevate the quality of institutional performance.
