University Media – Special
The College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University organized an educational seminar for first-year students entitled “University Life: Rights and Duties.” The seminar was delivered by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, as part of the College’s efforts to enhance students’ awareness of university regulations and instructions, and to clarify their academic and behavioral responsibilities within the university campus.
During the seminar, Dr. Al-Rikabi addressed the most important rights enjoyed by university students, alongside the duties they are required to observe. In his remarks to University Media, he emphasized that university life represents a fundamental stage in shaping students’ personalities and refining their scientific and social skills.
The seminar witnessed positive interaction from students through questions and discussions, reflecting the significance of such awareness-raising activities in reinforcing the values of discipline and responsibility, strengthening the educational role of the university, and preparing a conscious generation capable of contributing to the service of the nation and the advancement of the academic institution.
