The Deanship of the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University welcomed first-stage students on their first day of study this Saturday morning, December 20, 2025. The reception took place in the campus halls amidst a distinguished academic and organizational atmosphere.
The reception event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, his Scientific and Administrative Assistants, and a number of the college faculty. They extended congratulations and welcomes to the new students, emphasizing the college's commitment to supporting and scientifically accompanying them from their very first steps in their university journey. Receiving the new students and organizing the reception ceremony activities was the Scientific Assistant to the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Al-Bassam.
The introductory program included guidance speeches delivered by the College Dean, covering the College of Medicine's vision and educational goals, adopted study mechanisms, and the most prominent academic regulations and instructions. It also introduced the scientific capabilities and modern infrastructure, including classrooms and laboratories, contributing to building a robust scientific and professional medical personality.
This activity falls within Al-Ameed University's policy aimed at preparing an integrated and stimulating educational environment and strengthening communication bridges between students and the faculty from the beginning of the academic year.
