The College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University, under the supervision of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, organized a workshop titled “Enhancing the Diagnostic Aspect of Obesity”, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ridhab Ibrahim Mohammed, with the participation of a number of the college’s faculty members and students.
The workshop aimed to develop a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of diagnosing obesity in a scientific and precise manner, while shedding light on the latest scientific methods used to identify the types and causes of obesity. It also sought to enhance participants’ competence in distinguishing between various cases and applying appropriate indicators for their assessment.
The workshop further addressed the importance of early diagnosis of obesity in preventing its serious health complications, emphasizing the need to adopt a rigorous scientific approach in dealing with obesity as a medical condition that requires thorough understanding and analytical evaluation for its proper assessment and treatment.
